ZDQ 22 - Conjurer showdown

Making this was sluggish from day one (it's also the largest of size so far though), but especially fun was when the file got corrupted and layer data disappeared.  Note to self: never trust external hard drives, they enjoy your suffering.

Until this part, all opponents Gwindor & friends have encountered were monsters. Npc enemies allow for more variation, and of course some cheesy taunting. Eustacia and Mr. Hammy aren't really the most formidable foes though. Maybe lvl 1 conjurer npc shouldn't attack everyone indiscriminantly? Their friends could be more serious threat (all of them are older, more experienced), especially with wards, which can be really irritating for mage players since they can stop magic cold. Gwindor has more options here though, going straght for overkill by collapsing the roof on the conjurers.

Steve is armored Daedroth - because normal huge monster wasn't enough, gotta be huge monster wearing a Daedric armor. In Oblivion daedroth are mere beasts, but in older TES games they had clothes or even weapons and armor. So Steve is smartest kind of Daedroth. Barbas references to Morrowind, where he's present as Creeper, a scamp merchant who buys player's (Nerevarine)  stuff and pays full price (= easy profit for player).
I cut this part in two, because of the large amount of panels. Next one will continue soon after where this left.

Edit: I recolored parts of Steve's Daedric armor to be more, well, daedricy.
Edit2: I dropped the 'blood of god' subtitle, since I haven't used any for other closely knit parts either.

This is a Elder Scrolls fanart comic that plays with alternative version of Skyrim's plot, where the game's events are derailed when the hero doesn't quite make it. Main character Gwindor the high elf mage is both the protagonist and the narrator of the story. My goal is to make dozens of parts long story arc that stays lorefriendly(ish).
