ZDQ 17 - Whom gods annoy

Description

Oblivion players may remember Staff of the Everscamp from "Whom gods annoy" quest, which I named this part after. The staff always keeps four scamps around the player (which respawn if killed), slows down player speed and can't be sold or thrown away. Niranye is a vendor in Windhelm, but she's also involved in a Thieves Guild's quest, so her lockpicking skills should be possible.
The guest star Molag Bal is Daedric Prince of domination, enslavement and being nasty. I considered drawing him eating puppies ("I love puppies! *Munch* Such piquant taste!"), but the ridiculous puppy-eyed version of him won my mental tug-of-war.
By the way, "durned elf" is reference to what Bruenor often calls Drizzt in Drizzt-novels. The smith (whose name I can't remember) is actually rather nice in-game. Maybe he is so hostile here because he has daedraphobia? The Khajiit merchant jokes about Elsweyr, which is the Khajiit homeland. Some Khajiit in game speak of themselves in third person ("M'aiq does not understand what is so impressive about shouting. M'aiq can shout whenever he wants."), I assume it's normal in Elsweyr.

I had to make this part longer just to fit in all the dialogue, because I couldn't just make less scamp jokes. Next part is going to reveal more about Gwindor's backstory. There have been all sorts of theories about his connection with Sheogorath in comments section, which is great!

About Zombie Dovahkiin Quest:

This is a Elder Scrolls fanart comic that plays with alternative version of Skyrim's plot, where the game's events are derailed when the hero doesn't quite make it. Main character Gwindor the high elf mage is both the protagonist and the narrator of the story. My goal is to make dozens of parts long story arc that stays lorefriendly(ish).

Comments are very welcome. Feel free to ask if you feel something needs an explanation (about lore etc.), offer suggestions or constructive critique. By the way, I've seen a few translations of my comics and that's okay, feel free to do so. Just please don't remove the signature.
